Everyone seems to be jumping on the blog bandwagon so I thought I'd give it a go as well. Haven't really got a clue what I'm going to talk about, but that's never really stopped me from saying something, so . . .

Attack of the carpal tunnel monster
I have to cut back on the knitting for a bit. My right hand has started going numb when I knit which means I've seriously aggravated the carpal tunnel monster. Instead of knitting every day, I've dug out an old cross stitch project I haven't worked on in years. I figure if I rotate through the knitting, the stitching, and the reading, I can keep the carpal tunnel monster at bay and maybe actually finish the scarf, the fantasy sampler, and the Atwood book I started over the weekend.

You should consider switching to wooden (they're made from bamboo) knitting needles. It sounds odd, I know, but it makes a difference; maybe not for carpal tunnel but it seems to help prevent fibroids in the forearm.
Get better soon!
I've seen the wooden needles but I've never bought any. I may pick up a set the next time I go in to get yarn just to give them a try. All the knitting needles I have are aluminium and I've been using them for years.
They (wooden needles) have a completely different (warm) feeling to them. I think you will like them.
Either way, let us know!
