Hounded by Kevin Hearne
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This is an urban fantasy about a 2000+ year old Druid, Atticus O'Sullivan (not his real name but the one he uses), who lives in Tempe, Arizona with his Irish wolfhound, Oberon, and runs a new age bookstore/tea shop. He has a vampire for his nighttime lawyer and a werewolf for his daytime attorney. He dislikes and distrusts witches, and he mixes it up with deities from the Celtic pantheon, one of whom summons the horseman Death from the Christian Hell who basically does nothing but giggle and drag someone to Hell.
Not what I would call epic fantasy, but a quick and fun read. It makes for an enjoyable diversion.
