Everyone seems to be jumping on the blog bandwagon so I thought I'd give it a go as well. Haven't really got a clue what I'm going to talk about, but that's never really stopped me from saying something, so . . .

And yet another day of rain
I strongly suspect the yard won't be mowed until next weekend.
This is the path to my front door. Lovely pond, isn't it?
Do you remember how the college use to flood - well Monday night it rained while I was in class and when I got out - I had to wade through the parking lot to get to my car. My jeans were soak up to about 3 inches or more.
We had three days of rain, one day of mostly rain, and two days of some rain. I think we've made up and passed our annual rainfall average for the first half of 2006. I'm guessing we had between 6 and 10 inches of rain total. Fortunately, most of the places I go in this town don't flood. Say what you will, L.J. has a fairly good drainage system.

Looks like lots of rain.
But don't sweat the mowing part; even if you mowed now, with all of that rain, by the weekend it will have grown another three inches or so ;-)
