I enjoyed the book, but I did have a hard time believing that every police official in Montana is an obtuse idiot. I'm not terribly familiar with predictive modeling and how it works to comment on that aspect of the book, but how it was used here certainly sounded plausible.

The Judgment of Richard Richter by Igor ŠtiksDisclaimer: I received a copy of the book in exchange for a review.
After reading a quarter of the book, I've put it aside and I have no intention of returning to it. The book is about a middle aged man who discovers his background isn't quite what he thought it was and goes looking for answers. It is told in the first person. For the part I've read, the protagonist has done nothing but whinge about something awful that happened to him on his quest which he will address later. The tone is melodramatic and overwrought. Not my cup of tea.

I listened to the audio book from Audible and did not actually read the book. The story is a fantasy Tolkien/D&D pastiche. It was not really my cup of tea; however, the reader, Peter Kenny, was so wonderful I enjoyed listening to the story.

I listened to the audio book from Audible and did not actually read the book. The story is a fantasy bodice ripper set in Victorian times involving werewolves, vampires, mad scientists, and a soulless heroine. It is not really my cup of tea; however, the reader, Emily Gray, was so wonderful I enjoyed listening to the story.
