Everyone seems to be jumping on the blog bandwagon so I thought I'd give it a go as well. Haven't really got a clue what I'm going to talk about, but that's never really stopped me from saying something, so . . .

Oh, my god, I'm old
I'm sitting here watching the Super Bowl - the 40th one - and I was reminded just how ancient I really am. At the start of the show, the MVPs for prior Super Bowls were brought out and introduced. When they introduced Joe Namath, the MVP for Super Bowl III, I was suddenly reminded that I'd watched that game with my dad and that I'd rooted for the Jets just to be contrary. I actually don't remember anything about that game except the Jets won. I'm not even sure who the Jets were playing against, but I think it might have been the Cowboys 'cause dad was - and is - a Cowboys fan.

"Old" is relative and ageing is no more than a chronological process ;-)
I agree with Karen. Personally I have always liked the saying "Age is a case of mind over matter. If you don't mind it don't matter." Or something like that. I didn't watch any of the Super Bowl and hubbie didn't have a Barn Party for it either.
ANY WHOSIT - more later - oh yeah - 3 more kids born in the last week.
