I don't know how many books he's written in German, but there are nine or ten that have been translated into English. This book is the 5th in this series. Not great literature, by any means, but I kind of like them. I haven't read any of his others yet, tho.

Wow. I only knew Pötsch as a filmmaker and from radio. I never realized he wrote historical fiction.
